DescriptionSketch of Star Face-man by MARTIN SIMMONDS made at Singapore Comic Con in December 2022A4 size (8.3in x 11.7in) When attending Singapore Comic Con, I went over Martin Simmonds' table to get my copy of Department of Truth #1 signed and got to see the artwork for sale. I went with the smallest option for a commission - a remark - but Martin blew this one out of the park. He used a lot of different materials - BIC pens, ink, gouache I think - while taking his time. He normally does remarks in books or blank covers but since i gave him my sketchbook which has more space than normal, he filled the page more than usual hence this amazing commission. I let him choose the commission theme and he went with the Star Face-Man which has a very interesting design. Social/Sharing |

All those tools he used looks about right to give this such a unique presentation like a smaller more intimate version of his paintings.
