Such a glamorous look on Rogue. Artgerm uses the rougher line values to bring a nice volume to the figure and her hair, but a sharper line for the face to get great appeal.
Thank you for your comment Marcus. The rough lines as you describe were due to the sketchbook I brought. I use grained paper (for charcoal and watercolor) because sometimes artists use watercolor or other materials that don't look great on thinner paper. In this case it gave a texture to Artgerms' lines that is not his usual style. At least compared to other sketches here on CAF.
He actually went with it. He could have just slowed down or doubled over the lines to make them solid. But good textures that is more thirsty for the ink.
