Description
Frank Miller illustrated the covers for the first 12 issues of the Lone Wolf and Cub series by First Comics (1987). Some of his most notable work of the ‘80s and the US audience’s introduction to Lone Wolf and Cub. I’m super happy to have this LW&C illustration by the master.

Gorgeous piece by Frank Miller! I loved Miller's illustrations for the covers of Lone Wolf and Cub and this piece really captures the feel of those covers! Fun pose with little Daigoro hanging on to Ogami for dear life!

Wonderfully energetic and stylish in composition and execution.  Miller creates iconography as the folklore of this tale can be seen in many of his works about nobilty, family, honor, and standing up for yourself to live a spiritual life even if you have been outcast and wronged by society.

Hard not to miss all the trademark blacks, but this is a fabulous example of Frank's signature linework.

Seriouly, man, hard to top as a LW&C or Miller image.  Classic stuff, and just love the varied expressions on both :)  Congrats!
