Nice! A really cool title/credits splash from what can arguably be said is the greatest Captain America run in the title's history. Mark Gruenwald made the title fun for so long, yet sadly never seems to come to mind when people talk about the greatest comics runs of all-time. This is it!

Such an incredible Cap splash leading into the debut Crossbones issues. Fantastic work from Dwyer.

Make no bones about it, This Dwyer run was special! The splash embodies his talent to open a grand dramatic adventurer tale. Even in pitch black, Cap is still symbolically a beacon of light to illuminate the way.

Really captures the "realm of perpetual darkness" with it's vast expanse surrounding the small Cap figure. Wonderful light effect. Sets up a must read!
