Description
One last Rek-Rap for the road.

I just love that top panel with Spidey web-swinging in, only to be swatted away by a powered up Chasm, now calling himself KING Chasm. (Chasm is the latest incarnation of the Ben Reilly clone).

Then good ol' Rek-Rap steps in, angry that Chasm has assaulted his 'sidekick.' (Haha!)
Chasm disposes of Rek-Rap rather handily, while directing a funny aside to Spidey: "You hang out with this guy, but *I'm* the weird one."

Man, these two issues (#17 and #18) were so much fun.

I've been told by Ed McGuinness himself (the creator of this wonderful new Bizarro Spider-Man character) that Rek-Rap will be back! I can't wait :-)

I miss Rek Rap. If Gold Goblin and Hallows Eve can get their own solo series, then Rek Rap definitely deserves one too! There aren't many heroes who can say they had Spider-Man as their side kick.

Nothing like a McSpidey battle!  Supercharged action!  Chasm just used Rek-Rap like a jobber to make his own power levels look good.  This is the Spidey sidekick we've been waiting for.
