This is such a beautiful and hauntingly gothic piece. Love it, and any Mignola from around this time. Perfect!
Thanks a bunch Simon !
I probably wouldn't have gone through the deal with out your solid advice.
I don't know if you were the Angel or the Devil on my shoulder that day 😂
The spooky factor gets turned up as those background tentacles find their way into the photo of Jenny as well.
...now that is something!!
You can't beat Mignola drawing tentacles ;)
Such a great cover.
Congrats on your Grail, beautiful piece of art!!!
Huge congrats on this one Larry! Pure Mignola style and it makes it even better that it something that has some meaning to you! A solid reminder of how great this hobby can be!
Thanks a bunch Tyler !
You are absolutely right , this is a great hobby and finding a piece that is beautiful and on top of that means a lot to you is very special !
This is a fantastic piece of art from Mignola's prime. Love how the tentacles and flowers appear both inside and outside of the framed portrait, lending an aura of beauty and menace to the overall picture. Of course Mike's powerful use of black inks accentuate the overall effect. Congrats on obtaining a grail!
Thanks a bunch, Brent!
I couldn't agree more with everything you said.
this is one of my fave Mignola pieces ever.
