Description

"Bella IV"

Art created in 1999. Model is Bella Scholl, Olivia's first major model. Olivia painted multiple paintings of Bella in preparation for her first major showcase at Tamara Bane Gallery in the late 80's and Bella has become a personal favorite of mine. If you have a iconic painting featuring Bella you may be willing to sell, I'd love to see it.

Published #4 of 72 trading card set of Olivia's New Models by Comic Images in 2001. On back Olivia says "I found such elegance in Bella's face. The painting is just an embellishment on her gaze."

Gouache and watercolor on 300 lb. Lanaquarelle hotpress watercolor paper
Size: 15″ x 22.5″

Thanks Rob! I honestly thought I didn't have a fighting chance for a Bella (as most are long gone and she held onto this one). The O world is hyper focused on Playboy Cheesecake pieces right now, she says are influenced by other artists. I think one day the opposite will be true of her art and her real legacy will be HER art she loved creating most. Your drawing is part of that legacy! :-)
