Description

20”x30” (frame 26”x37”) Painted in 1979/80; purchased in 2016. Cover for the John Norman book by the same name, first printing cover by Daw Books in 1980. Richard also sent me a copy of the original letter from John Norman to the publisher describing some ideas for what he thought the cover should be. It is interesting to note that the title of this book changed when Richard chose to do this idea for the cover.
