In this issue... Everybody Dies! Byrne ended his centuries-spanning take on the DC Universe with a bang, as many heroes gave their lives to reset the timeline to something more hopeful. On this page, Green Lantern John Stewart collapses on Wonder Woman, their lives ebbing away as Superman and Darkseid begin their final confrontation. Byrne uses bleed edges, overlapping tiers, and diagonal panel gutters to add pizzazz to the scene.
