Lyrissa Mallor was the modern day Champion of Talok VIII who wielded the legendary Shadow powers that have passed down through generations of her family. Lyrissa was imprisoned in Starlag with Vril Dox and joined him in his new organization L.E.G.I.O.N. after they escaped.
She was killed by her daughter, Lydea, who had been kidnapped and brainwashed by Pulsar Stargrave.

We've known each other since we were by Kitson
Together we were escapees
Learned of love and the nineties
Mallor arts and families
Goodbye my friend, it's hard to die
When my Lydea's stabs me from behind
Now that betrayal's in the air
Deadly girls are everywhere
Think of me and Vril be there

We had joy, we had fun
We had Shadows in the sun
But the Kills that we find
