Siqueira Venom Lethal Protector II #2 COVER, 2023 -- ft. Silver Sable (and Venom of course)!

The Sable alone is worth the price of admission!  Gorgeous face, figure, and overall some killer detailed accents.  AND you go the V-man in the background?!  Done and done.  Yet another Siqueira stunner.  Congrats, Paul!

Clean and richly detailed!  Though Sable needs to practice trigger discipline.

Oh man does the color version blow! Thank goodness we collectors have the privilege of seeing the line art as it should be seen, in glorious black and white! Siqueira is one of my favourite contemporary artists and this is a fabulous example why. Not only does Venom look fab, but the beauteous Silver Sable looks even better and it's all envelloped within a stunning backdrop which is a veritable feast for the eyes!

Thanks as always for the great comment, Troy!  These days, I am hyper aware of the backgrounds that are drawn on these covers, cuz otherwise they seem like just glorified pin-ups.  That is one of the main reasons I went for this particular awesome piece.

Excellent drak alley scene!  The shadows on the bricks and fire escapes squeeze all the focus to the white parts where Venom and Silver Sable shine!

The buildings on this are exquisitely done!  While the depictions of Venom and Silver Sable are A+ quality work, the background details elevate the piece to a whole other level.  Outstanding!

Stunning cover, Paul!  And there may be something wrong with me (given the foreground content of this piece), but I can't stop studying the backgrounds here!  Incredible details to either side of Sable here (bricks, fire escape, etc) with that sliver of light shining down on the wall to Sable's left to perfectly highlight her rifle.  And the building directly behind her is a gorgeous "grey tone" backdrop to allow both the lighter and darker elements to pop in front of it.  SO good.  Sable looks like a million bucks (of course) and Venom (oh, yeah - he's on here, too! :) ) has some amazing hatchwork to give him a creepy leathery feel to distinguish him from the hard rockwork around him.  Beautiful piece, Paul!  Congrats!

I don't know, does she really need backup? Sable seems quite in control. A masterpiece in the layout and use of blacks. Congrats.
