Agreed on the Kubert connection, especially on the cartoony gators.
Fabulous! I also see Kubert in the linework, though it's obviously Buscema. It was super to talk with him in the late 90s at SDCC, glad you had that experience as well. He was very generous to fans and young artists in my experience
I completely forgot that John did some Punisher artwork! Wow! He was such a great artist. I love going over any issue that he drew. So great!
Amazing page from his early 1990s works with mighty male Marvel men (Conan, Wolvrine and of course his few Punisher issues), huge congrats !
