The perfect era of Sienkiewicz able to fully experiment and implement his vision and explode it onto the world. His paintings of this time on covers took the genre out of the house style and had a major impact to show maturity of mainstream comics.

I once owned a Sienkiewicz What If? cover myself and while Buscema will always be the quintessential Conan artist, Sienkiewicz will always be the foremost illustrator in comics, regardless of the character. This is indeed a phenomenal image and a classic cover!

I'v always loved this cover--one of my favorite Bill Sienkiewicz images, despite the fact that it's a character he's know necessarily "known" for. Well bought!

Killer cover for Savage Sword of Conan by Bill Sienkiewicz! This may be the most buff Conan ever. Wielding a deadly axe, he's armored in steel gauntlets and a steel helmet and a deadly looking shoulder horn for good measure. This is not a Conan you want to mess with. Or even look sideways at. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
