Painfully real, nice get!
Powerful page of innocence lost. Congrats!
Just because it isn't real life doesn't mean that parental abuse on a child is any less heartwrenching. A great, if difficult, scene.
There was a crime when I would have followed you
Teeg appears for his birth
It was Phillips to share it all with you
The love, the birds
I've seen you when your dreams and falling out with sons
But I never stopped believing in you
I always thought the boys were strong enough
One would shoot pidgeons too
You never see it coming
You just let it crime
On silent wings, silent wings
You can't hide what you feel inside
For the lines has Phillips child
To spread his wings
That night Bert wept for hours.
I adore those 3 skinny panels with the birds. Cool storytelling effect and the black areas are rich and expertly filled.
