This is the first "serious" Elvgren model I've seen. Congrats on the beautiful piece; bigger congrats if the seriousness makes it unique!

Fantastic piece. Elvgren, by far one of the best pinup artists of all time and yours is dreamy!

My favourite part of art school was always life drawing class, using charcoal on newsprint. For that reason alone, I love these preliminary studies. This one is gorgeous!

Beautiful! Based on this, I'd say Elvgren's life drawings have similar carefully observed yet smooth and simplified forms as his oil pinups, but this pose and the serious expression are an interesting departure from his published work.

Exquisite pencil work! And gorgeous lass, of course. I'm pretty sure you can fix that pesky crease.

I would suggest getting a cat to sit on it to flatten it out....

So lovely and complete of a pencil work! Captures the mood and the feminine figure in all its supple and taut glory.

This is really nice. She looks beautiful but bored. A common thing I spotted with many life drawings.
