You're the resident Truman/Grimjack expert, but I can't help but notice the obvious Michael Jackson influence in the elaborate excess of Crayne's character design.  The timing is about right, as MJ was still riding high with the success of his Thriller album.  Then again, it could be completely unrelated.  Maybe Tim just wanted to draw a guy who likes wearing rat heads on his crotch.  LOL

Man, I can't believe this is almost 40 years old already! I don't think anyone back then would've thought MJ would be dead for 14 years already, at this point in the future. It sure was a special time back then!

Strong storytelling, especially the 1st and last panels are top-notch, great page from a super 1980s indie classic !

Great setup to the following page; what a treat to score a nice sequence like this!  Hard to upstage a towering reptilian bodyguard, but, yeah - the mouse head codpiece oughta do it...  Fun sequence which found a PERFECT home in your gallery, Rick!  Great score!  Congrats!
