Hawkman and Hawkwoman by Chuck Patton

Katar and Shayera flying into combat on Thanagar. Loved Chuck’s versions of the characters in the 80’s Justice League and think this rendition captures them well - from the wings spreading across the page to the dynamic poses with their ancient weapons. The two moons in the background were a nice touch to show they are flying above an alien landscape.

Chuck was amazing to work with - one of the most pleasant commission experiences I’ve had. Got a rough sketch within days of asking for a commission, then the final piece after less than 3 weeks.
