I greatly enjoy the English artist of this period. I believe this was done for Puck. Baumer was great at capturing character and situations.

Jim, that's a terrifc piece. I love Baumer's pen & ink work and this is a nice example of it. You probably mean Punch though, yes? I don't recall Baumer doing any work for Puck.

Thanks. Yes, I was on the wrong side of the Atlantic. It should have been attributed to Punch. After sifting through my files, I may have been a little punchy! I do love his pen and ink pieces. He has been neglected in the intervening years, as have been so many other wonderful artists.
