Silly Michael, this page is for MLs!
It's an odd pairing but was bound to happen. We've all seen Superman recently but where has Quicky gone?
Quicky is no doubt controlling things from behind the scenes. The world will learn of his plans when he's ready.
A reach for Infantino, the ink is Giordano
To rock (that line), that's quite (art find)
It's Quicky with the Kal-El, here we go...
It's Quicky to rock a line, to rock her spine that's at noon time
It's Quicky... it's quickie (Quicky) quickie (quickly)
It's Quicky to rock a rhyme, to choc a rhyme that's right on time
It's Nestle... Tr-tr-tr-tricky (Tricky) Trrrrrrrrrrricky
I met this little girlie, sugar and diabetes
Went to her house and let her drown, I had to leave real eighties
These girls are really sleazy, all they just say is please me
Or Dick some time and talk Carmine, I said "I’m not that bunny."
As a comic book guy, D.M.C. would love this. Reverend Run, on the other hand, would object to glorifying Quicky given his public commitment to Kool-Aid.
"In America, first you get the Nesquik, then you get the power, then you get the women." -- Homer J. Simpson [or it was something close to that. --J.]
Happiness is a warm glass of pink milk ;)
Really fun (and unique) Superman team-up page! But yeah, haha, they are pretty nonchalant about that drowning [glub] kid!
Move over Koolaid man, we got a new champion in town.
If Quicky were to ever battle the Kool-Aid Man, the entire world would suffer.
Fun page with many Infantino typical stylish elements.
Ha, a wildly fun team up. I hope it ended with them enjoying some chocolate milk!
Priceless.
Lol, I had to stay on panel 3 for awhile! I love how all 4 characters NOT in the water are looking left, and NOT at the last o' the crew still in the water! Super fun piece, combining to strong '80s pieces o' nostalgia in comics and Quik! Congrats!
Where chocolate powder is concerned, even Superman's sense or morality goes out the window.
Now I have to go buy some Nestle Quick! Great page.
Comics and Sugary nutrition. Like a match made in heaven! As a kid, I always appreciated this kind of stuff and that nostalgia is strong today!!
Great pickup!
