Description

Another great piece from 1989. The Question, one of Denys signature characters.

A collaboration between Denys Cowan, Angel Gabriele and Jeff Newman. Denys would pencil the figure (sometimes just a rough) and Angel would ink the piece, Jeff airbrushed it and Angel would give it the final inks. Nice airbrushing (very 80's) and just a cool piece. 34 years old! Done on a cut up piece of art board.

Nice vintage! The airbrush colors do add so much mystery atmosphere to The Question enhancing and building upon the linework for the fog.

Strong ethereal quality and a lot has to do with the color finishing! I'm sure looks that much better in person. Congrats!
