Description

A super-awesome drawing of a Kirby monster, this time the Hypno-Creature, who originally appeared in Tales Of Suspense #23 (August, 1961.)

This image, although it says 'cover' at top, was only used as a pin-up in Marvel Monsters #1 from 2019, a lead in comic to the Monsters Unleashed series. The book also served as a handbook of a number of Marvel monsters which featured as pin-ups in the comic.

Colors by Israel Silva. (I believe, as he's listed as the color artist for the comic, but no individual colorists are listed for the pin-ups).

11"x 17" on bristol.

That background effect is really nice with pencils and then the layer of zip over it. The Bradshaw details for monsters are done with great care having each surface nodule and scale stand out.

Great splash. I like it even more after reading it was inspired by a Kirby Monster!
