Liefeld's composition is pretty interesting as Cable is firing at Styfe. We see the large image of Styfe behind him as it is what Cable is looking at.  It woud take a good inker to separate the figures and make this clear to the viewer.

Stryfe is not behind Cable. Cable is reflected in Stryfe's armor...so Cable is running toward Stryfe.  Rob made it very clear on his own, this piece does not need an inker to seperate the two figures.
