Description
Some beautiful panels in this sweet page!

Klein does a great take on Hulk, incredibly weighty and solid brushwork which is given even more substance by the lovely gray tone wash throughout.

This latest run has the feel of a really good E.C. horror book - a return to greatness for the Big Green Rage Machine!

Absolutely dripping with action and atmosphere - and a Zombie Sheriff to boot!

Indeed! You've clearly seen the page after this one too, where Hulk's erstwhile sidekick does some severe mandibular damage to the evil sheriff... 😁

Even when the military leaves Hulk alone, he has to contend with the supernatural!  Some classic lonely monster stuff that harkens back to the core premise of the Bixby show.

Nothin' beats a good old Hulk Monster Smackdown!! I pity the fool who gets in his way next!

Yep, I thought the same as you with that 5th panel - it's a classic pose, very Bill Bixby end credits. Big up to Joe Harnell who composed and wrote The Lonely Man theme for that great series.

Klein may be dubbed the new horror master after this run. Congrats on grabbing a great page Steve!

Big T, I couldn't agree more. Klein is giving me exactly those vibes - his work on any character has always been exemplary, but it feels like horror has found a new home with his run on the Hulk. Every panel is a mini masterpiece.

I was lucky to pick this beauty up - the pages by Klein featuring Hulk on the site sell out in minutes! And I'm getting right back into the Hulk, quite a feat after the epic Immortal Hulk run, which I see as the absolute best take on Hulk's personas and purpose ever. I'm back again for the ride, and so far it's a doozy!

"No road through mountain? Hulk MAKE road through mountain!" It's so nice to have Hulk back to being himself again. Nic Klein is just killing it on his run in the Incredible Hulk with Phillip Kennedy Johnson. Beautifully drawn panels with gorgeous ink washes giving everything a sense of weight and depth. Great pick-up here, congrats!

Thanks Bill! I agree, this is IMHO Klein's best work to date - both story and sublime, detailed art feel like the hallmarks of a great, classic Hulk run!

You know it, Hulk! Some beautifully rendered landscape balanced by a lovely bit of HULK SMASH!
