Description

This was my only shot at a Purgatori cover by Steven. I don't think I did too badly! I love the use of black and his intense inks, there was no shortcut with the brush on this one. Steven always had a knack for the dramatic and this piece is a perfect example.

another candidate for your best purgatori piece is obviously here. when the man, the myth, the warlock Stephan Mckenzie himself shows up not once but twice. its safe to say you have something special. i am unaware if this is purgatori's first cover or not but this is special. what Hughes was able to lay out for Jensen to color in, is a one of kind that no picture could ever do justice. to see / hold this in person must be breathtaking. this is an amazing pick up and i am happy for you more then i would ever be jealous. congrats
