Description

In my opinion this was the most striking Lady Death cover Hughes ever drew. I have heard from a friend who was close to Steven that he also felt it was the most "essential" Lady Death piece he drew, the one that most captured her essence and character. I would have to agree with the late, great Mr. Hughes.

I was amazed when I won this piece and at the time it was my grail of Hughes Lady Death art. Jack Gray and Jason Jensen's combined colors on the finished piece really made this one stand out on the shelves at the time, I can't even count the times I've hovered over this piece just drinking in this overall work of art.

Awesome! I'm not usually a fan of the darker stuff which Chaos really focused on, but the quality of their creations and the passion they had was always evident in the product and that made me a fan as well...aside from the gorgeous women of course. Great looking cover!

I have to agree, it's a beautiful cover. Steven was in my opinion, the best artist ever to draw Lady Death.
