DescriptionHere is another fun daily from 1947. Not everyone liked the comedic character Happy Easter but I found him a fun addition to the strip and his appearances were rare so for those that didn't care for him, it was easy to get by. Caniff's matured style comes through in his draftsmanship and cartooning on this one.Social/Sharing |

Happy is probably the most interesting part of the strip along with someone coming along in 30 years trying to decipher cursive writing.

Really nice Jeff...and although I'm not overly familiar with Caniffs run on Steve Canyon, I am partial to this matured Caniff style of the later 40s.
