DescriptionWhiz Comics #129 p28 by Clem Weisbecker. Lance O’Casey 1951 War story. Golden Age Twice Up art.Giant piece of art 23in x 14.5 in. Page has a slightly yellowed tone from age. There are two small one inch tears along the top of the page. These do not affect the art at all. This one has got action, pirates, sea shells used as projectiles, and treasure chest! A super fun page to add to anyone’s art collection. About the artist: Clement "Clem" Weisbecker (1912 - 1965)New York City Clement Weisbecker was a noted artist from the Golden Age of comic art. In the comic world, he was known as "Clem." In addition, when working with fellow artist, George Harrison, he signed his illustrations as Clem Harris. Weisbecker worked as a comic artist from 1941 to 1953. Examples of the characters for which he was an part-time illustrator include (but are not limited to): Betty & Veronica of Archie Comics, Captain America of Marvel Comics, and Lance O'Casey of Fawcett Comics.
