Description

Gerhard brought a bunch of small Cerebus drawings to OAX 2024 that he did from various moments in the history of the aardvark. This one is from the "Melmoth" book and features Cerebus holding a doll of Jaka who he believes is dead.

It's from Cerebus #141 page 6 which I also bought from Gerhard at OAX 2024.

Paper 7.5"x11" - art is 4"x6"

Unbelievable how they can make the anthropomorphism of Cerebus have so much complex emotional depth! An expression of being stunned with grief and mourning as Cerebus clutches onto what he has left in the world that seems real.
