Bettie Page sketch cover by Travis Charest

This very cool Travis Charest sketch cover comes courtesy of CAF’s own Lance Suarez. I’ve known Lance since maybe 1985/86. That would make him the second longest friend I’ve had in this hobby. I’ve always known that Lance had this sneaky side to him, but this gift was ninja sneaky. Sometime in the afternoon of New Years Day, I get a text from Marcus telling me that Lance had dropped something off for me at my front door. I thought that he was actually standing there waiting for me to open the door or something, but when I did, all I saw was this envelope on my doorstep. I opened it to find this very cool sketch cover of Bettie Page by Charest. This has the distinction of being my very first sketch cover comic ever! And of course the added distinction of being my first piece of new art for 2024. So my thanks to the uber sneaky, ninja stealthy, Lance Suarez for this kind and generous gift. The next time I need something done on the down low, I’ll know who to call.
