Description

Bob Layton was kind enough to do this Mohawk Storm commission pre-OAX for me and send me a scan. He simply went above and beyond, in my opinion, channeling his Barry Windsor Smith, my favorite Storm artist.

When I went to pick it up at OAX 2024 he said he wanted to keep it in the portfolio until the end of the convention so people would see examples of his work, which I thought was pretty cool. Sheri and I loved hanging out with Bob, he's just such a positive guy and I'm glad to own a couple pieces he's done for us. Thanks Bob! And thanks Bill and Kasra!

This definitely channels BWS with a touch of the Layton background. The color selection makes this pop. Very nice!

Bob's lovely colors also to evoke the coloring of the original! Mohawk Storm in the mid 80's was at the peak of her popularity and this time travel device brings back that nostalgia.
