Uncle Sam may want me, but I'm not going anywhere near that guy!
Wayshak got my vote for who to do a pre-OAX commission with, and I was floored with the results. You know this, you were early on his talent - thanks for the nudge to get a piece. This is a killer example of his style and quality work. Congrats - thanks for sharing!
Thanks bud. It's fun to get in on the ground floor with exciting young talent. I also did it with Mignola decades ago. And I always try to help out my fellow collectors by singing their praises. But sometimes it's like shouting at the rain, no one listens. Of course that just works to my benefit, since I have less competition early on. Although it's nice to see that the hobby is starting to catch on with Jonathan. It still makes me chuckle when I he told me the story of how a prominent art rep refused to take him on. Don't know what that guy was thinking.
Love this! Congrats, thanks for sharing!
You were Way$ ahead of the curve with this guy. Another stunning example!
These holidays always catch me by surprise too, haha! Man this is really cool, thanks for sharing!
You're a Wayshak one percenter!
Lovely artwork and you can never go wrong with the color green. Congrats!
Creepy
not familiar with the artist, but I like this piece, the colors in particular
Awesome piece, Eric. Really feel like Jon won OAX and that the future is wide open.
Couldn't agree more. He's crazy talented, he's hard working, and as nice a guy as you could meet. Thanks for the coment buddy. Hope 2024 is treating you well so far.
Awesome! He's definitely high on my want list to get some stuff from. Got introduced to him by Allen Spiegel at SDCC last year, and ended up talking for quite a while. Super cool guy and fantastic artist. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Will. Allen was such a patron of the arts. He loved the hobby and he loved people. SDCC will never be the same without him. Best of luck landing your own Wayshak piece. Whatever it is, I'm sure you're going to love it.
Jon at his best! Congrats!

irreverent and increasingly, chillingly relevant
