Description
One of the indie books I couldn't resist from my first visit to a comic book store. I had been a spinner rack kid for about a year and books like this just blew my 12 year old mind. Who knew comic books could look like this?!
These originals really have to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Incredible labor of love from Mr. Hampton and a book way ahead of its time.

Don't know anything about this book but that doesn't mean I can't just enjoy looking at the OA - whew!  The lines and colors...sublime stuff, no doubt.  Congrats!

The art from this series is nothing short of exquisite.  And I believe you about these pages having to be seen in person.  If yours was stored and preserved as well as my splash, it should be a sight to behold in all its immaculate glory.

Great early page that set up the tale of Silverheels as his people's last hope.  Heroic image in the 3rd panel and then his connection to nature plays out.  The work deserved the first class prestige treatment it was published in as the ground breaking work that it is!

Yeah, I remember Silverheels on the stands and although the lack of funds and superheroes priority kept me from ever buying it, I marveled at how far ahead this level of artistry was from almost everything being done at the Big Two. Incredibly beautiful stuff!

Great page!  So glad these pages have hit the market, and the colors are still so vibrant
