The Shadow 1941: Hitler's Astrologer

It’s not hyperbole to say that Michael Wm Kaluta will forever be associated with pulp hero The Shadow for introducing the character to mainstream comics. Working from scripts by Dennis O’Neil, the series, published at DC from 1973 to 1974 honoured Lamont Cranston and Company’s pulpish antecedents. His tenure on the book was all too brief, leaving the series after drawing only five of the first six issues - this fan was thrilled when he reunited with O'Neil on The Shadow: 1941 – Hitler's Astrologer published in 1988, which seamlessly wove together history and fiction!
