Another beautiful Martin illustration I have had a while.

Prismacolor, Paint pen and Nupastel. This photo is from James Martin Facebook page back in April 2018. This image later was featured as one of the back cover images and a double page spread image in his 2020 "Muse" art book pp. 16-17 which sold out.

James is having a Kickstarter sale right now for his new book "Lys" and reprint of "Muse" so I thought it was time to share. His illustrations are gorgeous.

He does great figure illustrations and look at those perfect feet! Ha.

Even though she's topless, it's a study done to capture a mood more than anything else. Maybe it's the music she hears, the sun and breeze on her skin, or just thoughts of a new love that give off her aura that the pastels make visible.
