Description

Lady Bast, having shapeshifted into Keris’s form, absorbs information in the Hierarchy’s computer nexus. She learns what rebels and royals alike are doing and have done. (Is it just me, or does the main villain look like she came straight out of Elfquest? Hmm.) I purchased this from Colleen Doran yesterday at WonderCon and I’m quite happy! A Distant Soil # 36, page 20 (2003).

It's a great throwback to where she broke in in her self published work. This has the earmarks of her early work where she excelled at drawing hair and ornate patterns that showed up great in the b&w comic.
