Description

Phil Jimenez is by far the greatest Wonder Woman artist second only to George Perez. He was also the lead artist on Infinite Crisis aka my favorite book. I don't recall many great pages featuring Wonder Woman in this story. So to get one with her accompanied by her amazon sisters on the battle field set on Themyscira checks off so many boxes for me. The amount of details is just crazy and the voluminous flowing hair is mesmerizing. A true signature Jimenez page!

Billed to be as important as the original Crisis about 20 years later, they got Phil Jimenez who was thought of as an artistic successor to George Perez. While George and Jim Lee shared cover duties to lend it added gravitas, the Jimenez art more than delivered with the universe of characters drawn in a hyper detailed manner. IC is definitely one of his career milestones. This is a great page from the series as his association with Wonder Woman comics stretched before and after this period.

Yup. IC might not had worked for me if it wasn't for Phil dynamic and realistic pencils
