Description
Tim Sale, may he rest in peace, was such an unique artist. His style was never seen before or after he jumped onto the scene. There is only one Tim Sale. His original art will become more difficult to come by as time move on. Luckily, I stumble upon this page of his early work. His first collaboration with Jeph Loeb, before their iconic Batman run. A powerful page as the Challengers of the Unknown splitting up and telling their goodbyes to one another. The way Tim drew figures and expressions will never be seen ever again.

Thank you Tim!!!

Really great how Sale stripped away the art to only the essentials.  They last panel with just the silhouette and isolated without word baloons is a very fitting end to the main story of this last issue of the series.
