DescriptionAnother Windy City Pulp and Paper Convention, LLC is now in the books. We had a ton of fun. My top purchase of the show was this great Virgil Finlay illo, which illustrated Berkeley Livingstone's "The Life Symbol," published in the February 1946 issue of Fantastic Adventures. The caption for the illo in the pulp reads "Wrappings fell away and there was revealed incredible loveliness..."Social/Sharing |

Stippling and scratching his way into our hearts! Finlay's ladies are some of the most treasured and this format allowed for some of his best illustrations to come into fruition.
