Description
While Brian Michael Bendis stole the show at FACTS Spring Edition in April 2024, the artist that was on my radar, was Takeshi Miyazawa. Ever since "Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane", I fell in love with his work. For the convention, I read everything again and it's stuck with me even more.

I considered going for an all-out piece of Peter & MJ, but I couldn't spend quite that much. This bust was done on A4 paper, with pencils, inks and colour markers.

Those manga versions of MJ, Peter, Gwen and all the rest worked so well - with a great story. Shame I didn't like the second season, as much, or that Marvel never did something with that amazing concept again. Oh, well.

I like the little dots on the black outline to break it up a bit for her to look even more glowing.  The scratches used at the bottom also give her that light feel.

Nice call-outs! I hadn't noticed the scratches at the bottom that actively!
