Beauty Blaze by Gene Gonzales and Simon Gough

Beauty Blaze has been a member of the Legion of Super-Villains going all the way back to the Silver Age, and yet very little is known about her besides that she has fire powers and wears a new costume every time she appears. This costume, designed by Carlos Pacheco, is my personal favorite. I asked Gene Gonzales to draw Beauty Blaze in this outfit and Gene killed it! Beauty Blaze looks beautiful and sinister here. I love the way her costume flows and her body blazes, and the burning background is perfect! I sent this one over to Simon Gough to color, and he made this commission look even more gorgeous! I love his color choices with the background, and how Beauty Blaze herself blends in with the colors of the fire coming from her body. My hat is off once again to the dynamic duo of Gene and Simon!

Beautiful mirage in the flickering colors of the flames! You can feel the heat distortion in the atmosphere to break our focus. With waves of line and color, it won't be long before you feel the heat from staring at this.
