I’m not a DC guy… but I AM a Ringo guy. And his Superman was a great era of his career, and one I didn’t have represented in my collection yet. When this one came back available, I made an exception. The black line with some irregularity around the outside is black tape, which I found interesting- I’d (stupidly) assumed it was ink in the scans of the DPS. Still, glad to have a solid Ringo example from this era!

DPS with extra original tape! Really great Batcave piece! When you have Superman around, Batman is able to use his intellect and guile as part of the World's Finest team. Such a great piece as artwork too with the ink fills outweighing the light to symbolically represent this as Batman being in charge.

It really is a great looking piece, man. So clearly Ringo, and the the shadowy Batcave inks by Marzan Jr are so deep. GOOD stuff. Congrats!
