Yeah, kind of rougher in the 90's, but it started even back when he inked himself back in the 80's with a thicker line. This still has that Byrne sense of wonder and artistic charm in the storytelling.
Interesting. I found the Next Men, especially the first 30 issues, to be amoung his best work.
