Description

Nir Levie - Epic of Aqhat - Chapter 1 & 2 intro, 2 page spread.

I learned about Nir Levie's artwork after he did a mystery sketch for me and I was immediately hooked. Once I saw he was doing a fundraiser for his new book Epic of Aqhat, and I saw the artwork, I was in. His work speaks for itself.

These two pages are each 11.5" x 16.5" and they're gorgeous in person. I included 2 separate scans of the pages in addition to a picture of them together.

Mind bending surrealism! Every detail fluidly leads to the next to immerse the audience into this world! This looks more like a wraparound cover with the title swirling about at the top!

I need to look into getting a piece! Such a strong flowy ethereal quality. And the depth, perspective, linework...all adds up to some sublime viewing. Congrats, Josh!
