DescriptionPaul called this one Flight of the Phoenii, and on his blog gave it the alternative name, Firebirds Rising. Whatever we call it, it's absolutely gorgeous!There are a ton of characters that Paul does an ideal version of, his Cyclops both with and without the cowl are amazing. Still, when I had a shot I had to ask for the Mother / Daughter Phoenix combo, and he did not disappoint, I absolutely love it, and now see it in my living room everyday. I think the characterizations are both great, and the Phoenix Effect is perfect, and I love all of the inky black and deep space elements. He really hit it out of the park. Done on a twice up board the image area is 12 inches by 18 inches and it's framed out under museum glass to 20 inches by 26 inches. I've included a photo of the framed art in the additional images.
