Magnus in every panel. This story takes place just before Magnus is whisked off to the Unity Battle with Mothergod.

The page is an odd size. 17x14 inches. Each of the four panels are are fully painted over pencils and inks. It looks like water colors may have been used for the backgrounds, then acrylics for foreground figures to really make them Pop in the image. Slight handling wear at the edges. Editorial notes in the margins.

Each panel was painted on separate boards, then attached to this larger piece of bristol with tape and glue.

Issue synopsis from wiki “Magnus arrives at the Asylum on Phobos and meets inmates Izak and Chuh-chuck, who revere him as their ideal hero. However, Grand-One is also there, intent upon eliminating the failed Robot Fighters by flooding the Asylum with poison gas! Forced to battle Grand-One, Magnus kills the very robot that raised him! Saddened by this tragic battle, Magnus decides to look after the inmates, but knows they are too dangerous to set free.”

This page features Cooshie, Chu-Chuck and Izac.

Cooshie was a mutant who was designated to become a Robot Fighter. Experimented on and trained by 1-A as a predecessor to Magnus, Cooshie showed mental instability and was forced to live in the Phobos Asylum until she was killed by Malevelents.
