DescriptionThis is an 11" x 17" piece done by the master, José Luis García-López, for Batman's 80th anniversary celebration a few years ago.My favorite story about José comes from Andrew Helfer. Years ago, Moebius visited the offices of DC Comics, then in New York City. Moebius looked at some of José Luis García-López's work and asked Helfer, "This García-López, he uses models, no?" When Helfer replied with a negative, Moebius said, "SON OF A BITCH!" Social/Sharing |

Pencilling perfection by the Master. Thanks for sharing that anecdote with me during your visit. Glad you got to use it in the description. Congrats on this beauty. Did I mention how much is sucks that after 40 years of collecting, I STILL don't have a JGL piece? Sigh! Nice pickup buddy!
