Joseph Simont, Prince's Darling

Spanish artist Joseph Simont. Done to illustrate, "The Prince's Darling." Colliers Magazine short story published in 1929. The author was Margaret Gabrielle Long, writing under the pseudonym of George Preedy. I'm not familiar with the story, but this seems a very tense exchange between the participants. Simont's work from the period is very distinct and beautiful, deserving to be mentioned alongside the other notable illustrators of the era.
