Martin Mystère #410 (2024) p 28-29: Wife beater

Alois Hitler becomes violent when his wife receives repeated correspondence from her former lover:

“Klara! Another letter has come! He is leaving for Russia! And he wants you to go with him!”

“Aaah! Alois! Please...please! I don't know what you're talking about!”

“Because of you I'm going to be the laughingstock of the village! Is that what you want? You enjoy it, don't you? Go ahead, give it to me! Tell me how much pleasure it gives you to humiliate me! I should... I should set fire to you! Set fire to you and that little bastard of his that you carry inside you! Damn you! Damn you! Damn you! I should throw you out of here, penniless and without anything. but everyone would understand the reason, and I have to think about my good name! Besides, I can't give up the money that the empress promised to the families for each child born. So you're safe! I have to say, you're really lucky! Now get up and pour me a drink. Mmmm... Now get a pen and paper. Let's answer your dear prince.”

Page 29 frames the violence carefully so we don't actually see the horrible sight of Alois striking pregnant Klara with a chair, but the scene is clear enough. We were not shown the scene in which Klara told Alois about her pregnancy and her relationship with Prince Rudolf, but it surely wasn't pretty.
