DescriptionFlyin' Jenny was an aviation strip Keaton created in 1939 but by 1942 he had handed over the chores to one of the pioneering female comic artists of her time, Gladys Parker. Parker also had success with her flapper comic gags which were one liners but here skill at sequential art is on full display in these dailies.Social/Sharing |

Less than a month after the Pearl Harbor attack, the reaction was quickly underway and the romance of flying would take on a new meaning in a time of war.
