Description
Bruce Jones wrote a 4-page script back in October 1994. It was sent to Toronto artist: Tony Meers... Meers had already completed the "Sandbar Skirmish" story that you can see in this folder. Meers had done a bit of comic work in the past, but was largely known as a painter of 'Harlequin Romance' book covers. Meers turned in finished pencils for "Free Wheelin'", but Dave believed the story should be expanded to 5 pages instead of 4.

In February 1995, the script was sent to Mike Kaluta who quickly knocked out rough layouts and expanded the story to 5 pages... Dave went over those, and created these 5 pages of Layouts for the final story. However, the story was never repenciled, inked, nor published - likely because the title itself morphed into a showcase for Jim Silke's Bettie adventure story, and eventually an entire title devoted to Silke's Bettie, with Dave Stevens covers.

In the additional images one can see Bruce Jones' script for the 3rd page of the story.
